The honey dryer with discs offers a new and advanced honey processing technology to beekeeping operations running 2-300 beehives.

The honey is dried at room temperature and is not heated in any way, which could damage the quality of the honey. Laboratory examination carried out have shoed that neither HMF nor diastase activity had been altered after treatment.

The honey dryer can dry up to 6% water out of honey (e.g. from 22% down to 16%) in a matter of 24 hours. The machine can operate with 50 kg minium to 300kg maxium per batch. Powerconsumption is 1kW per hour.

Easy starting: The honey dryer is always ready to work and can be operated even by unskilled labor. The controls are: On/Off, Switch for starting the rotation of the disks, Swich to start the drier and a thormstat (adjustable between 30oC-40oC) to control the inner temperature of the dryer. The reservoir containing the extracted water will be emptied by a proper gate.
